Class 4 have been getting really excited about Bonfire Night. We have planned lots of adjectives and similes about fireworks that we are going to use to write poems and some of us will be writing shape poems. Miss Miles and Mrs Jay couldn’t believe some of the amazing ideas that children were thinking of:
- Shooting stars exploding and separating
- Popping like bubble wrap
- Like crystals in the sky
- Like lava exploding in the air
We also made some fantastic firework pictures using pastel, paint or collage techniques which will soon be going on display in our classroom.
